Mil-a-17196) with a supervisory circuit continuously indicating whether ships wiring between the panel and the alarm switch is in working order. To provide for this feature a navy-approved resistor is connected across the terminal screws. This resistor is easily removed when the switch is used on panels w/o this supervisory circuit.Available in non-magnetic (brass) models when specified (less than 2.0 magnetic premeability).
