Produces broadcast quality color signals derived from 2in x 2in film transparencies. A single gun cathode raytube produces a flying spot light source that scans the film material. Afterbeing separated into red, green and blue components by special dichroic filters the light source is introduced to color selected photomultipler tubes amplified, gamma corrected and processedby an r-y, b-y internal color encoder. The video signals are automatically controlled to give constant output signals in relation to variable density ofslides. Weight 40 lbs.
