Pad resting, military working dog

The pad cover shall be fabricated of material that is resistant to damage from exposure to natural levels of ozone and ultraviolet light worldwide; and not biodegradable. The material shall remain flexible and non-tacky throughout the operating temperature range, and shell not be damaged by storage at high and low temperatures. The material shall have a smooth, non-absorbent, tear-resistant, abrasion-resistant surface that is washable with soap and water. The material shall be desert tan in color, and have a dull (matte) finish. The foam core shall be synthetic rubber or plastic that is resistant to damage from exposure to natural levels of ozone worldwide; and that is not biodegradable. The material shall remain flexible throughout the operating temperature range, and shall not be damaged by storage at high and low temperatures. The material color of the foam core is optional.

The pad shall be designed and constructed to provide padded support for dogs while lying down. The pad shall consist of a single-piece closed-cell foam core with a tear-resistant cover. The dimensions of the pad with cover shall be at least 40 inches long by 24 inches wide by 1 inch thick.
