A ground-based, self-contained, multispectral, sensor-oriented, trailer-mounted tower with mounted surveillance systems integrated with the command operations center that provides intelligent surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities that can be used to greatly enhance situational awareness for countering physical security threats and protecting critical assets from hostile actions. Primarily used for force protection, checkpoint security, route reconnaissance, patrol oversight, improvised explosive device emplacement detection, intelligence gathering, and personnel/vehicle identification. The tower platform provides 24-7, 360-degreee visual coverage with an electroopitical/infrared sensor and real-time situational awareness video capability. It may consist of seismic, acoustic, magnetic, or infrared sensors and/or cameras, portable computers, and communications. The sensors may be in an array or singular and will detect vehicles or dismounted personnel in the area under surveillance and report this detection back to a workstation for analysis.
