Generally consists of two types: (1) the condenser-eliminator type, which collects the moisture on a tubular type core after it leaves the condenser, runs to the bottom, and drains out; (2) the swirl type, which causes the moist air to swirl rapidly as it leaves the condenser, throwing the moisture against the shell, where it collects and runs down to drain.
